RIBBON CUTTING: Jose Soberano III, chairman and president, and CEO of Cebu Landasters, Inc., top officials of the YHEST Realty and Development, and City Government lead by Vice Mayor Rodrigo Duterte II during the ribbon cutting of the Pavillon.
DAVAO CITY – Davao Global Township (DGT) adds another level of amazing with the soft opening of the Pavilion, a space designed not only for commerce and leisure—but also for faith and reflection.

The soft opening of the Pavilion adds to another lively new chapter of DGT where visitors will enjoy a wide selection of dining options—from small eateries to major restaurants, offering flavors that range from local favorites to Chinese and Japanese cuisine.

Jose Soberano III, chairman and president, and CEO of Cebu Landmasters, Inc. had a personal reflection on the message of Father Arado of the San Pedro Cathedral Diocese who led the blessing of the Pavillon and surrounding premises. “His words served as a reminder that while people may build and develop, true ownership belongs to God. Humanity, he said, are merely stewards of the blessings entrusted to them,” Soberano said.

Inspired by this spirit of stewardship, a meaningful idea emerged: bringing faith into the very heart of the township. In a conversation with Father Arado, a proposal was made that could soon become a cherished tradition—regular Sunday Masses at the Pavilion.
The Pavilion’s spacious ground floor can comfortably accommodate around 500 people, making it an ideal gathering place for worship. If approved by the church, Sunday Mass could be held every week at 11:00 a.m., offering residents, visitors, and families the opportunity to begin their Sunday in prayer before enjoying lunch and an afternoon of leisure around the township.

From the very beginning, Davao Global Township has been designed as a customer-centric destination—a place where safety, comfort, and beauty meet. Evening lights illuminate the streets, abundant lighting ensures accessibility, and thoughtfully designed spaces invite people to linger, dine, and connect.
And the journey does not stop there.
Future plans include a third phase featuring an outdoor-style mall, with interconnected stores inspired by concepts studied abroad. There is also strong interest in developing another mall on a two-hectare property fronting the highway, further enhancing the township as a dynamic hub for lifestyle, dining, and community life.
For now, however, the Pavilion stands as a symbol of what happens when vision meets stewardship—a place where commerce, community, and faith can coexist.
And soon, if all goes well, the sound of Sunday church bells and the gathering of families for Mass may become part of the rhythm of life at Davao Global Township.
Another promising chapter for the new address of amazing.
